Layout Stages

Step 1: Thumbnails

The point you make small sketch out every and all ideas. No idea(man) is left behind in this step.

Step 2: Roughs

This is where you leave behind ideas. Pick and choose which ideas to refine into rough sketches.

Step 3: Comprehensive

Where the final design is produced from your rough sketches. The only joke I can think for this is 'You haven's even seen my final form!'.

Design Stages

Step 1: Visualiztion

The first phase of brain storming and imagining ideas of the project.

Step 2: Thumbnails

Sketching every idea that comes to mind. Just getting all thoughts on paper before finally filtering or refining any of it.

Step 3: Rough Drafts

Picking up some of the thumbnails/ideas to draw and design them in greater detail.

Step 4: Comprehension

The detailed redesigns and refining of the rough drafts.

Step 5: Mark Up

To finalize the redesigns and finish the project.

Combining Icon Grid

1. Project Goals

The goal is to ultimately combine each icon in a way that feels completely fluid/organic. I would like the objects to combine in a way that shows off the best features rather than be forced.

2. Process

Combining the objects was rather difficult for a few of them. Coming up with ways to use the subjects while not making the image feel to force was rather difficult. Felt rather unsatisfied with how a few came out, while several exceeded my expectations and felt natural to form.

Vectorized Combination.

1. Project Goals
Clean and vectorize the roster combinations by reducing the anchor points in adobe illustrator

2. Final Icon Grid
3. Final Icon Combination

4. Reflection
My thoughts throughout the project were rather staggered and slow compared to my peers. Throughout the combined icons I felt as though I struggled to merge the simple images together. Understanding or attempting to translate my thoughts into images was more of a struggle than I wanted it to be but I feel satisfied with most of my Icons.

5. Favorite and Least Favorite.

Of all the ones I've worked on the combination of War and Innovation felt like the best outcome I had obtained. Internal Cog design working itself inside of the Bomb I originally had. As for my least favorite it would had been Education and War. For the two images I had no strong idea or image within my mind to effectively combine them. In the end it came out rather lack luster compared to many others.
